Refund policy

Last updated: 2 November 2026

In short: refunds are not provided as a rule. The only exception is your first purchase, within 7 days of the first payment, if the subscription has hardly been used. Renewals are never refunded. You can cancel anytime to stop future renewals. Stripe, which handles the payments, may also refund in some cases (section 5).

1. The service starts immediately

Germanual is a digital service. It starts immediately after your payment, and at checkout you agree that it starts immediately. Under Turkish distance-contract rules, services performed instantly in electronic form are an exception to the right of withdrawal. If you live in the EU or EEA, your right of withdrawal ends once the service has started with your express consent, to the extent the law allows.

Before you pay, you can use the free form help and 1 free analysis to see whether Germanual works for you.

2. The only exception

We refund a payment only if all three of these apply:

  • it is your first purchase of a Germanual subscription;
  • you ask within 7 days of that first payment; and
  • the subscription has been used hardly at all. We check this against the usage log of your account (the time and type of each use).

3. Renewals

Monthly renewals are never refunded. If you don't want to pay for another month, cancel before your renewal date.

4. How to ask for a refund

Write to [email protected] from the email address of your Germanual account and include the date of your payment. If your request meets the conditions above, the refund is made through Stripe to the payment method you used.

5. Refunds by Stripe

Payments are handled by Stripe, and your receipts come from Link, Stripe's payment service. If you contact Link support about a payment, Stripe can in some cases also issue a refund within 60 days of the payment, under its own rules. Where the law of your country requires a cooling-off period, it applies.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time in the Stripe customer portal or on link.com. Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the month you have paid for; the remaining days are not refunded.

7. Your statutory rights

This policy does not limit rights you have by law that cannot be excluded by contract, for example if the service could not be provided at all.
