Germanual is a Chrome extension that opens in the side panel. It explains the German job ad you have open in English or Turkish, explains online application forms field by field with suggestions from your profile, and writes a German cover letter (Anschreiben) for that job.

Any job ad page or online application form you open in Chrome. Some application forms are embedded in the page in a frame from another website. If Germanual can't see such a form, open the form in its own tab and click the Germanual icon again.

No. Germanual never submits applications, never presses buttons and never ticks consent boxes. It writes a suggestion into a field only when you click “Insert”. You check everything and send your application yourself.

Only the tab you have open, and only after you click the Germanual icon and press a button in the panel. It reads the visible text of the job ad or the labels of the form fields. It never reads passwords, values you have typed, files you upload, cookies, your browsing history or other tabs. Details are in the privacy policy.

Page contents are not stored: they are sent to prepare your answer and are not kept afterwards. We store your account, your profile, your subscription status, a usage count and log (time and type of each use, not the page content), and only the letters you choose to save. Explanations are in English or Turkish. Letters are written in German. The interface is available in English and Turkish.

No. Germanual does not solve captchas or bypass security checks. If a page asks you to prove you are human, you do that yourself. After that, Germanual can read the page you see.

Help with common form fields and the job fact sheet are always free. Your first analysis (a page summary, an explanation of form fields or a cover letter) is free too, with no card needed. After that you can subscribe for US$7.99 per month, taxes included. See pricing.

You can cancel anytime in the Stripe customer portal or on link.com. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for: you can keep using Germanual until then, and you won't be charged again.

Payments are handled by Stripe through its payment service Link, so your card statement shows “LINK.COM*” followed by Germanual's name. Receipts and invoices are emailed to you by Link.

Refunds are not provided as a rule. The only exception is your first purchase: within 7 days of the first payment, if the subscription has hardly been used. Renewals are not refunded. See the refund policy.

Yes. Answers and letters are generated automatically and may contain mistakes. Check every answer and letter before you use it. Germanual cannot guarantee an interview or a job.
